Rachel replied to Shanna Anderson's discussion My leghorn caught and ate a small lizzard in Micro Livestock
"I agree with Chris. I would bet on the chicken unless your chickens are babies. It's neat that you got to see a roadrunner at your house. I haven't seen one in the middle of the city in 20 years. One of my chickens ate a baby gecko this morning, it…"

Janet replied to Shanna Anderson's discussion My leghorn caught and ate a small lizzard in Micro Livestock
"It's good for them. I caught my chickens chasing each other over a tiny newborn bunny they had killed. They must have scratched it right out of its den. Sad, but an excellent fresh protein source. They pretty much picked it clean."

Krissypink replied to Shanna Anderson's discussion Eggs in this heat in Micro Livestock
"I think they are fine. Sometimes if I'm too busy I don't get the eggs until the next day....so far so good, no food poisoning etc! Plus when they are first laid they are very warm to the touch, so I think that continuing to be warm won't hurt them,…"
