Thanks for the welcome Ericka! We haven't left for Argentina yet, we're going to spend the holidays with family in Phoenix, then take off at the end of January.
Thank you for the welcome Erika!
I've got the growing of flowers down pat. I now want to grow my food as well. :-)
Thank you for the mosaic compliment also.
Hi Ericka, Thank you for the warm welcome. I am new to composting, but I have become like a mad scientist. I have a two buckets(20 gallon buckets) of compost tea going at all times. Then my new project is a compost bin with a cold frame on top. My seedlings never get below 40 degrees at night and we have been down to 10 degrees here in Reno. My project is to keep the compost hot all winter. The punishment is if I don't... I lose all my seedlings. Dyan

"Sorry for your loss. This time of year is so rough for hens and they are pretty fragile birds. Especially older hens. We use large terra-cotta saucers (like the ones you use under huge pots) raised up a bit on cinder blocks. We change out the water…"

"This looks like a great large scale project. Take lots of photos before, and I know personally I would love to see what the site looks like in a year, 2 years, 3 years etc.
