Woke up this morning and heard one of the "chickens" crow! Yes, I think it is a rooster. Of the 5 Rhode Island Reds (3 month old), 3 look like roosters. Unfortunately we can not keep them. If you know any one that would like to have good healthy roosters please let me know.

The Ladies had to go due to the many changes that had occurred since their arrival. I did not have the time and energy to provide the proper care. I work with other farmers on increasing production AND quality of life for various farm animals. It would be nice to think that eventually, we will be able to have a flock again - later. They certainly taught me a great deal. Do you have hens?
