"I have pipes like those around my fruit trees in Parks. I drop Alabama Worm Chow down the pipes to attract local worms.

"Thanks Catherine, good to know. I bought mine before there was a hydro store on every corner. Makes sense that they would have strips."
"No, unfortunately those strips do not go low enough. I bought mine from Teraganix, the Bokashi people. You might be able to find it elsewhere but I could not when I bought mine. You have to be careful to notice that it measures from at least 5 to…"
"I have some pH paper that goes down to 3.0. Water bath can happen at less than 4.6 pH. I always test my food prior to deciding how I will process it. I like the pH to be 4 or less to water bath it. I would rather err on the safe side so if the…"
"You can also spray your beds with EM1. Bokashi is bran inoculated with EM1 and molasses. A bottle of EM1 goes a long way when you extend it by fermenting it with water and molasses. It took me 5 days to get the pH down to 3 and it now can be…"

"Thanks Catherine. I was really looking for a recommendation from someone who had used a lab that tested specifically for V or F. The labs listed are for NPK or nutrient soil tests. "
"Hi Green Shoes. Go up to Home, click on resources and then garden and garden supplies and there is a list from the Ext Service which lists the testing labs."
Does anyone know of a place one can get their soil tested for V or F?

Thanks for the input on the dried foods discussion. BTW, I just purchased the DVD of Fresh w/license to do home screenings. If you're interested, pass the word and when I get it in, we can get a bunch of us together and watch it. The trailer looks awsome.
