I am the owner of Parkin Farms LLC
Parkin Farms is located in Phoenix, Arizona and is a small custom plant growing operation.
In 2008, I started bringing my extra tomato and pepper starts to work and sharing those with co-workers. In 2009, I put out a cup and wrote “Farmer Dave’s Seed Money Donation” and collected enough to actually buy the seeds I needed for the next season (fall of 2009). One thing tuned into another and here I am growing custom vegetable plant orders for farmers, schools, community gardens, events, and for sale at two local farmers market.
I still have my day job! This is a little side business right now and the focus is on providing custom, small volume, vegetable plant orders. All plants are grown using organic methods. Only organic materials are used to fight off pests and fertilize the plants. Additionally, nearly all raw materials, including seeds, are certified Organic or OMRI listed.
