Oh - I do currently recycle my wash machine water....I just diverted the water into a 55 gallon drum with a spicket on the bottom that I run into a bed in the front yard. No laundry detergents used in my laundry...just Soap Nuts.

I'm interested in a shadecloth as well. It should be an 8'x8'x11'3" blue triangle, hemmed, with grommets on each corner.
Here's a mockup:
Not sure yet how I'm going to attach it. I'd rather not drill holes into the house or the block fence, nor sink posts in the ground.
So I'm thinking of adding metal strapping to the tops of verticals of the block fence, leaving some sticking out to clip the corners of the shadecloth onto.
If you have any ideas on that, that'd be great. But mainly I'm concerned about getting the cloth.
Thanks!
Korina
The area is shaped like a trapezoid with the NW facing "top" being 8'. The length of the bottom about 25'. We were thinking of overlapping sails so we get some full sun for our containers (the courtyard walls are about 20' tall). Being a primary school we want bright, fun colors.
We would need you to come see the area in person, after school hours to walk us through your "vison". Installation won't be a problem.
Shaun- I can't figure out how to email you, your page doesn't seem to have a "send Shuan a message" link...
I am interested in a shade cloth/sail style for our chicken coop area. The coop will be located on the East side of my house up against a bedroom wall. There are 6 foot block fences on the south & east side. I would like a sail style cover to help block morning sun for the chickens. It does finally get shade about 1130am & by 4pm that whole side yard is shaded. It would be cool if you could also cleverly conceal the part of the coop/run that will be seen over the block wall (from the south side). Even tho chickens are legal where i live, I still want to remain low profile...I will attach a pic of what the coop will look like. Feel free to email me at Creativedogma@cox.net...thanks !!!\
Dimensions of side yard are approx 14 feet wide by 20 feet deep. Need to cover about 14 wide-ish by 8 feet deep
Thanks
