About Me:
Father of two, married, small animal veterinarian.
I have been composting with worms and a small compost tumbler for about two years. I have tried Hydroponics...too expensive and time consuming. Although I do have two Aerogardens in my kitchen.
I have a several small garden areas...mostly root crops.
4 citrus trees, 6 grape vines, sugar cane, two baby mango trees and three baby bannana trees.
I decided to try and expand my "urban farm" with the addition of chickens.
I now have a two baby "easter egger"s, and a Cuckoo Marans.
Comments
I started them on medicated food a few weeks ago, so maybe that has helped. It wasn't my preference (they were on organic), but the older roo seemed to show signs of cocci & I treated them for a few days with a sulfa (per stock shop recommendations) & switched to a medicated food for a few weeks. I will try to watch her carefully & see if the mucousy, bloody poop appears again.
Thanks & many blessings, it was great to meet you & your daughter today!
Beth
