Well I made a post a while back about a "hen" that was crowing. Well she AND her "sister" turned out to be Roosters. Out of three that I bought from the dupplier two are roosters. So now I have to get rid of two loud roosters and find two young easter egger hens for my kids and I.So if anyone has a young easter egger or knows where I can get one(s) that are close to laying please let me know.Thank you for your helpNathan J.

Nathan, I bought my original flock from the same guy you did & ended up with two roosters out of 4 hens. That guy is a scammer & I think he does this to people on purpose.
I am sorry that this happened to you. The blue eggs are great & so far my Americaunas are pretty sweet girls. I got all of the rest of my flock from Vanessa who is on Craigs list. I bought them at 5-6 weeks, so it was fairly easy to tell that they were hens.
I have one easter egger that's right at about a year old. I no longer have any of her brooder mates and she is a little lonely at the bottom of the totem pole, she isn't pecked or anything, she just doesn't have any friends in the flock. She isn't currently laying, but should start up again soon. Since you've been so generous to all of us with your services, if you're interested, I would be happy to give her to you. (P.S. her name is Chocula and she's gorgeous).

Hope you are well.
