Have a nice day. thanks

Well, it's not a total loss. One egg hatched in the late afternoon on the 5th. She/he seemed healthy, but I didn't want to say anything until I knew for sure, and now I know. It's a cute little yellow chick with one black spot on it's back and fuzzy feet. It likes to climb up on things. Oh, and it has a fine set of lungs!
She/he is eating well, but lonely. The other eggs haven't done anything, but I'll keep them going another day just in case. Theoretically they all should hatch within 24 hours, and it's been about 38, but you never know!

"When the girls get hot I use the bottom of an igloo dog house, turned upside down and filled with water--just deep enough for hen feet. The girls really like a trickle of fresh water too. Occasionally, when a hen gets stressed I bring them in and…"
Brahama Rooster just started to crow so he really needs a new home. His daddy was a white and brown Brahama and his mom was gold lace Brahama. This rooster is beautiful--black with gold feathers and he glistens green and gold in the sunlight..…
"Thanks for the update--My Basque hen started siting 4 days ago and since the rooster is gone, I've had to find another source and there is a fellow that works at Western Ranchman who has promised to bring me a few eggs tomorrow. I am sorry your…"

"My two cents worth: Give him some time. give the girls some time. As he grows into his "manhood" he will become more confident and the girls will fuss for awhile and will eventually get used to the idea that the rooster has a place in their…"
"Sorry for the delay. It's a non-commercial still-air, tabletop incubator. Probably holds around 30-40 eggs depending on their size. Give me a call or text at 601-403-1859."
"Jay's incubator might be an easier solution since we're in east Gilbert. I'll wait to see what you decide. If you decide on the hen, we're at 480-889-4374. :)"
