  • It's cool. I showed up at about 10 am and found out work on the garden doesn't start until about 12 noon. So I came back about 4:30pm and no one was home. I took the time to look around and things do look pretty interesting. Vynnie mentioned he was going to stop by and so I left him a message on his phone but never heard back. I will probably stop by this Sunday after 4pm. C ya then.
  • Hi Kelly, Anne referred me. I live fairly close to Grow Garden and would be interested in coming by on Sunday. Will you be there? What time?
  • Awesome. That works. However, this Sunday I will be on the Citrus Gleaning Project with Arizona Home Grown Solutions from 1pm to 4pm. I can stop by on Sunday but it has to be before 12 noon. Is there a time you recommend? If this Sunday does not work I can always come by earlier or later in the week.

Kelly Placke replied to Nick's discussion Raised garden over bermuda? in Community and School Gardens
"yep. it will creep up. Bermuda grass is ghastly alien fighter grass:) if you have the time, use a garden fork, loosen the ground and pull out as much as you can. If you do not have the time, lay some landscaping fabric. Some bermuda will most likely…"
