Interesting. That's one thing not to mess with. We have a book by ball on how to can. I call it the "big book of don't". Curious what myths there are and how one tests these."

Never done lettuce. We've done dry soup mixes with onions, celery etc. but lettuce isn't really something i'd consider a soup ingredient. Bet it would be good though if dried."
I don't really love gnocci as every experience i've had ended up about like yours, something should be different then it would be perfect, but this is a really beautiful execution and worth attempting just for the "yes I made…"
