Figs figs figs!

So I managed to find some trees that were willing to share their bounty with me. I ended up gathering about 4lbs of figs. I used them to make:

A really fancy quesadilla, with bleu cheese, and onions caramelized with balsamic vinegar:

A dish called Sikbaj or "Bagdad Stew" served on whole wheat pearl couscous

Though I did make a few changes -- less honey and figs, added some chile pepper and chickpeas, thickened it with some flour.
