Hi Kat! Thanks for the welcome! I'm interested in volunteering for sure, but Saturdays are out right now. Keep asking though! I just moved here and I do want to get involved.
I must have clicked the wrong button I am the president of The Gift of Giving, iNC. A 501c3 in Tombstone. I of course am always looking for volunteers to help with the construction of our firs bio dome for aquaponic community gardening. Thanks for your comment Kat. Sincerelly Del "Doc' roach
Hi Kat and thank you for the note! I would love to be more involved with the Tour. I think that since I am just starting out from condo life (I don't even have a hose!), I should pass on being in the Tour (although I would love to!), but would be interested in volunteering in some way. I don't think I have the time available to be on a committee, but I would really like to be involved. Here's my email: avesflyer@yahoo.com. Thx!
Hi Kat, yes I have been busy, as you may have noticed I'm helping out with the enrichment class with Rebecca, Cindy, Diane and Jane. It has been fun to some degree and chllenging for sure as Rebecca has said. I also work at the Harvest for Humanity site in Tempe and at a community garden FIGG it is also in Tempe. I go to sometimes to one if not both almost everyday along with the enrichment class Looks like you have been busy also are you now working full time with the VPA? I haven't been able to do any thing with them this year so far hopefully I can get back into it in the next few months.
Hi Kat, Looks like you've been very busy since MG class! I could have used your teaching skills with a gardening enrichment class I've been attempting to teach at the Phoenix Collegiate Academy for 5th and 6th graders. Quite a challenge for me but I love the kids! Fortunately 4 others from our MG class are helping me (Doug, Cindy, Diane and Jane.)

I'm organizing another citrus gleaning March 25th in Scottsdale. Are you interested?
