"I choose not to because the salts that are included with the chlorine. You don't want to add salts to our already salty soil/water."

Can I compost the material I frequently take out of the pool skimmer? Lots of leaves, flowers, ect. I've thought about washing them off with hose water, than leaving them out to dry before throwing into my bin. Any thoughts for and against would be…
