South East Valley Feed stores

I am getting ready to finally puchase some chicks after months of research. I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good feed stores or places to purchse chicks in the south east valley. I see so many places in central pheonix and the west side. Are there any out east???Theresa

  • Thank you so much for your responses. I looked on line at Dexknows and the only one that came up for me was Mesa Feed Barn.
  • Last February I got mine from the Mesa Feed Barn also. I think they get theirs in on Thursday mornings.
  • I know there are a lot it just depends on how Southeast you are. (I will second Don's phone book suggestion) :) I would caution you about C&C Hatchery out in Queen Creek. It's unfortunate because they are local and theoretically they seem like good people to support but we have had several members have bad experiences with them (sick birds, 50% roosters on birds that were sold as hens... etc)
  • I got ours at Mesa Feed Barn, Broadway/Mesa Drive. I waited until October to get mine though. I just didn't know what the heat would do to those little bodies. My big girls are having a hard enough time.
  • Phone book [the old way]
    Higley feed - Gilbert - 480-9882419
    b&B feed - AJ -480-982-4453
    Superstition - AJ 480-982-9250

    have fun...
  • I got mine from Superstition Feed. I found them on google.
