Fellow dairy goat people?

We are bringing home our first two Nubian doelings next weekend.  I think I'm more excited about it than my children! :)

Are there any other dairy goat permies?

    So this may be a really stupid question but can you keep goats to have milk to drink? I see things that say "this milk is not for human consumption" on a lot of things so i was curious how that works.
