chicks somewhere other than pratts

Does anybody now a good valley location to purchase chicks or pullets other than pratts? they do not take good care of their animals there and i'd rather support a more reputable business. however i only need a few so i don't want to order 25 from a hatchery. suggestions? i live in Tempe.

    I buy from a local chicken breeder/raiser. She orders all her chicks form a reputible hatchery & she only sells pullets. I have had good luck so far with my girls: (several other PPG members get their chicks form her too!)

    I avoid Pratt's for the same reason. I also go to the Stock Shop in Glendale. The owners are frequently there. They take good care of the animals and carry organic feed.

    i get most of mine at the stockman out about 75 th ave and buckeye rd. i havent lost a chick from them

    The best place is the Feed Lot off of deer valley and 19th

    There are a few places in the east valley, but check out the Stock Shop in Glendale or Western Rancher off bell and 32nd St. Good selection and very clean environment. Bought mine from Western Rancher and they are very healthy.
