This year for Tour de Coops, we have a coop in need of extra Volunteer help in Mesa (at Dobson & University).
Volunteers will help on November 16th to greet tour-goers, ensure that everyone walks through the bio-security pan before entering the property, and in general just being helpful and facilitating at the tour-stop.
The owner of this particular coop is having surgery just before the Tour, so we are in need of volunteers to get the lay of the land BEFORE November so everyone is comfortable for when the Tour occurs. .
Do you have a friend that you could take to the coop and both meet the owner and become familiar with the property/meet the chickens by Monday, 11/4? If you could meet by then and volunteer at the Coop on the 16th, that would be just amazing!
