Bantam Rooster inside the house?

Hi everyone,

I have a few chicks that are about 8 weeks old and 2 of the Japanese bantams turned out to be roosters.  One of them started to crow yesterday and I cannot have him in my backyard.  I was wondering if I could keep him inside a cage inside the house and what everyones thoughts are on that?

 

I have 7 chickens and they are loud enough for the neighbors, so I'm trying to be a good neighbor, but also a good papa to my baby chicks.

      I wouldn't.  My eyes are already itching at the thought of the poultry dust in the house.  Besides, I don't think that's much of a life for a chicken...if I were you, I'd fatten them up as quickly as possible and turn them into chicken stock.
