I have to admit, when I saw the title the first thing I thought was "Oooh, that's sounds like something fun!" instead of the more sane "Wow, why would a chicken need a swing?" Seeing it just enforced the first thought :) Now if I can just convince my husband that swinging hens produce more eggs...
Kelly both those thoughts entered my brain also when I saw it, but I am looking at it like I do my other pets or any livestock raised. They are curious critters and anything that "enriches" they lives makes them healthier, and in the case of hens maybe produce more eggs, longer :-)

So he's agreed that when we build the new coop/run (probably next fall) that we will be able to incorporate some swings into it. And I played that video after dessert last night to the delight of my guests :)
