I made this tonight and it turned out great. The tahini sauce goes really well with cauliflower.

Grace perfect timing! I just got a purple cauliflower from the farmers market and have been thinking about what to do with it :-) I have dry roasted florets in a dry saute pan and poured over a lemon garlic sauce (like a savory lemonade) so this is very similar and I like the cumin option - or I may do coriander. Hmmm? Nice choices. Thank you for posting.
Thanks Catherine, I am glad you can use the recipe. Next I am going to try roasted brussel sprouts and other one dish vegetable recipes. For some reason they seem like less work than steaming vegetables.
Roasting is always a great option for veggies as it brings out the natural sugars while even steaming (as opposed to boiling) can diminish the flavors some - water particularly with strong tasting foods is used to remove flavor and bitter components :-)
