  • I'd love to share a cuppa. The weather is soft and cool and we could sit out on the deck under the old mulberry and swap yarns and tips.
  • Hello!
If you click here it will take you to my page. I will add you as a friend and if you need any web help let myself or the Web Administrator know.

Diann Pert who gave the tour is also on this site. Here is her page link.

I was also at the tour, and if you were the one who could not get bamboo to grow, the guy we got bamboo from told us to plant it in highly composted horse manure 3 feet deep. That is what we did, and ours is just starting to get growing after one year in the ground, with lots of horse manure :)

  • WOW! Husband, Jack Dyer, and brother-in-law, Denny, and I just took the 8 a.m. Wilson urban farm tour. What a gigantic treat for the senses and spirit. And the information delivered in such a warm, sensible, non "either-or" way - just too permission giving in the lovliest way. Thank you, thank you, thank you each and all responsible for this site, tour, energies, projects, everything. And special thanks to the female neighbor who caught us on the way out to encourage me to persist in my love of clumping bamboo. I wish I'd exchanged contact information with her and invite her to respond should she get this. My soul overflows with gratitude for this life and world and for folks like those who shared today.

"Your education, experience, obvious love of nature and all the critters made your generous tour of your space a delight! As did your non-didactic attitude. Let's have a cuppa' sometime. I've been known to go to Tempe and return unscathed to Old Town…"

"Dear Diann, First, sorry for misspelling your first name. Second, in my enthusiasm for your tour and sharing yesterday, I just realized I probably would have been wiser not to so specifically identify where we live. Would you be good enough to…"
