  • Hi Mel,

    I'm not really sure about the Surprise regulations regarding hens. I am pretty sure my hoa doesn't allow them. I wanted them so much that I just decided to try it and see if any neighbors complained. We got them last June and they have been outside since July or August. So far, so good. No complaints, yet. They can get kind of loud around egg-laying time but, not as loud as our neighbors' dogs, music, etc. Hopefully it will continue to work out but, I am prepared to part with them if I have to.
