We are a Phoenix-based 501c3 non-profit that offers classes, training, activities, tours, events and demonstrations on gardening, small livestock and other topics related to urban farming and sustainable living. Read more about VPA on the ‘About Us’ page, and explore what this site has to offer. We hope that you will participate fully in the many groups, forums and other resources on this site. Please take advantage of the wealth of knowledge readily shared by our members!

When you became a member, you were enrolled to receive our weekly newsletter. We hope you will find the info and updates on classes and other events helpful. Finally, there are many volunteer opportunities to assist with classes, the seed library, in the office and at events like the annual Tour de Coops and Mesquite Pancake Breakfast. If you would like more info on volunteering, please let us know.

"We got our chicks from hatchbawks earlier this year and have been very pleased. I chose similar ones (2 Australorps, a Buff, a RIR, a Barred Rock and an Amercauna). We should be getting eggs in the next month or so. I hope to add a few more in the…"
