Hey Erika,
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, I have never had a pool to work with, so I am not up on the lastest pool/grey water techniques. :) You're right though, it does seem like a waste not to use all that water for something! One thing to beware of is that pools are generally chlorinated and chlorine is used to kill bacteria. Beneficial micro organisms in the ground help our gardens grow more successfully and when we use chlorinated water in our gardens, the good bacteria colonies can be decimated and soil reconstruction setback. I'm sure that there is a way around this, I just am not familiar with it. Good luck on your search and please post anything you find on website, I'm sure there are other people with similar problems who would love to know the answer! Let me know if I can help in any way. :)
Thanks, Heather
"Heather,
I was wondering if you know of any way to convert the water I backwash from my pool into gray water to water my garden. It seems such a waste to not use it for something.
Thank you,
Erika"
