I spoke with the young man tonight who has been having concrete jack-hammered at his house. He has broken concrete in a half high roll off thingy in front of his house. He said it will be picked up Monday morning, and that you are welcome to take what you want. He also has more concrete in the back, off the alley, that is also available. That has some metal reinforcement in it. The address is 1000 W Elna Rae in Tempe, 85281 and if I am remembering correctly which only happens some times, his name is Joe. He was thrilled at the idea of not paying dump fees.
Hi Erica - We have our monthly meeting tonight, so I'll check in on what trees we have in our greenhouse and what our "mulberry member" has, if you are interested? Also, you are welcome to the meeting, too -- we have a speaker on blackberries - 7:30pm, at the UofA County Extension Office (4341 E Broadway Rd, Phoenix). Sorry about your current tree -- I know that Bakers is a great nursery...but, I know it's a drag to invest the time in something and then be looking at losing a season if something fails. :(
