About Me:
I'm a Professional Landscape Designer and Landscape Irrigation Consultant. One of the facets of my work involves Landscape Water Conservation.
Personally I'm a Sculpture hobbiest, Christian, Happy Husband and father of four.
I am interested in learning more about Sustainable practices and concepts. Specifically what other people are actually doing and how it is working.
Most my interest and experience in sustainable practices relates to water conservation and landscape water usage. Hopefully I can contribute something to these discussions.

What did you decide to do with the garden bed? Will you be weeded out the Bermuda soon? I already have bermuda growing in my newly planted citrus trees!
I am still trying to get up the nerve to kill it all. I just keep thinking.... then what? What do I do with all the dirt and where do the kids play? Luckily my husband isn't looking at the long terms and is focusing. "Step one, kill the Bermuda." Our new mantra.

Indeed, lets commiserate. I am wavering in my commitment to removing it all because I plan to have chickens and I don't want the children and chickens (or any other creature) getting sick from the chemicals.
I tried to grow a garden last year, and pulled out what must have been hundreds of bulbs and and any sign of Bermuda. Even so, within a month the Bermuda was already infiltration and eventually killed everythign (except the onions) in the garden.
So, it seems I really must get rid of it.... I just don't know if I have the guts to do it!
Are you having stress dreams about the Bermuda yet??
Welcome to PPG!
