Hi All,Our north side group is sort of trying to create a meeting habit, a chance to get together, visit each other's gardens to see what we're all doing, compare notes, share experiences, lend a hand if needed and generally enjoy the company of other gardeners. Last Monday, I got the chance to visit Annie's garden space in the SCC's Community garden. It was so interesting to walk that area, looking at what's being done there. It reminded me of Europe and all their little community gardens at the edge of every town. Roots and Shoots (Annie's gardening nom de plume), has some really interesting things going on, like waffle garden, some great looking chard and LOTS of potential in what looks to me to be amazing soil...! Helping to dig that new fence line wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected.Anyway, tomorrow at 10 AM is the designated day and time for another meeting. I'm offering to host it in my garden, which would give anyone interested in sunflower or lettuce transplants a chance to come get them. I have a business meeting at 9am tomorrow, so I won't be able to make it. What rotten timing. I am so sorry to be missing it. And I really want to get you some eggs. Anyway we can meet early or later?
