Sapindus saponaria var. drummondii / western soapberry or sapindus mukorossi

Sorry for asking so much questions lately but is anyone familiar with soapberry? I'm finding that even in trying to make my own soap I'm still using castile oil or Lye and I was searching for a more natural way to do it. I found that the sapindus saponaria tree is native from Arizona and that the native Americans used the nuts for cleaning and washing. Has anyone used them? do nurseries around here sell them?

hugelkultur

Hi, I was wondering if any one has experience with the hugelkultur beds. I would like to make a small one in my front yard not six feet tall but maybe 3 or 4 feet. also, does anyone recommend planting agave or cacti with vegetables and edible flowers. I've never done it and I don't know if that would work since cacti soil is a little different from veggies. THX
