Anyone had success growing squash in large containers?

I square foot garden which has worked great for me except for squash. This year I would like to try raising squash in large containers so they don't take over the whole yard. Has anyone had success with this? Any advice? Thanks so much!!!

I have mine is a 10 by 5 raised bed and the grow great every season.

Yes, I put zucchini in 24"w x 32"h pots this year and we are now beginning to harvest. You can still plant squash so give it a whirl. Downside is even big containers do require daily water in this heat. I just looked at the calender and I think I'm going to plant some pumpkin, melon and more squash in the next week in a few more containers.
