SB 1151 Bill to allow the keeping of some poultry - help.

This thread has been on the main forum, but I thought I should post here also.

Where this bill is at is that it not being put on the agenda for hearing.

Time is running out for this session.

Please call, and request politely that Chairman Robson allow the bill to be heard, and also call Gov Brewer's office and tell them would like her support for the bill.  It was noted that the Gov lives in a county island and some of her neighbors have chickens.

    April 16th - the bill was voted down in Committee

    "*SB1151 4-16-14 Update* Committee Of The Whole (Cow) has just voted down our Bill with a vote of 25-32. This means SB1151 will not get the chance to be signed by the Governor or become Arizona Law. This Group was AWESOME and we accomplished so much in such a short time. We must now Re-Group and build in numbers. We can re introduce our Bill and perfect it and our approach and get it done next Session."

    April 14th update - I posted in the thread on the main forum.

    The Bill pasted the rules committee and will be voted on most likely on the 16th.  Contacting the Representatives is of the utmost importance now.  For convenience in the thread I listed the emails of all the Representatives.

    Placed my calls this morning; I hope this bill passes I don't have chickens yet but am hoping I will be able to soon.
