I am interested in buying some polish frizzles but I can't seem to find any anywhere. I am thinking of trying to produce some myself, but I can't keep a rooster in central phoenix. Would anyone else be interested in working with me on this? I would like to get a frizzeld male cochin, to cross with some golden polish, and see where I can go from there. Also, I especially like the polish tolbrant pattern but the few I have seen available are riduculously expensive. Maybe a golden laced polish cross with a speckeled sussex could produce something equally attractive in a similar pattern?

We've got a Tolbrant Polish Rooster ourselves. No frizzle chickens though :( hatcheries usually only have frizzles in a couple of breeds since they don't breed super true.
Do you ever have Tolbrant chicks available? I'd definitely be interested, if you do. But I have to stick to hens, unless I find someone to keep a roo for me, because I live in the Central ave corridor and roos are not welcome. I have 1 roo with a friend already, she does not want another. I have a great looking salon faverolle roo, and love my faverolle hens. If I found someone with a frizzled roo I might try for a cross with them, as well: salmon frizzles would be pretty, also. I wonder why the frizzles don't breed true?
We just got him from my father in law. He's older, but then he (my FIL) never had broody hens. Will have to check and see if we at least catch him trying to breed one of the girls.
Check with the Stock Shop in Glendale. I believe they had some straight-run frizzles due in this past week. De, the assistant manager, has a list of when everything is expected in so she could tell you if and when she is expecting any.
