    I actually disagree about the having a male thing. I think they are like chickens and it doesn't really make a difference. My females lay just as much as my neighbors' that have a male. (Sorry David and Karl!! ;) )

      just passing on information we got from one of the largest muscovy breeder in the country, located in Missouri. I would assume they know what they are talking about since doing this for 40 years

    It can actually be a little longer than that depending on when they were born. Mine were between 7 and 8 months.
