Matilda an electric hen

i just built one of these. i used an old coleman ice chest, a themostat for an electric hot water tank, a cord and a ceramic light fixure. it took me about 30 minutes total and the cost was less than $15.00. i dont think you can get an incubator any cheaper. i found this on line http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=matilda+electric+hen&FORM=MSNTST

  • Keep us posted on how this all works, I know people have had some success with these before. If you don't already have a hygrometer, you should get one.. accu-rite makes a cheap one that you can buy at lowes. Maintaining proper humidity for a successful hatch can be difficult.
