Handsome Indian River Rooster Needs a Home

Oh, I love, love, love the sound of a rooster in the morning!  I will miss my beautiful boy, but he needs a new home.

He is an Indian River, a cross between a Delaware and something else-- I can't remember.  He is a pretty large boy.  I don't know his exact age, but I think he's a little over a year old- ?  He started crowing and getting his beautiful tail this past Feb/March.

He is gorgeous, but just too big and too confined for our coop/run.  He needs to be in a larger place where he can entertain himself with more than just a harem of hens.  He is a little too active in that arena, in you get my meaning, and our hens are bald on their backs!  He takes good care of the ladies otherwise, though he's a bit protective.  We're in it for the eggs, and he's stressing the ladies, so we made the tough decision to rehome him.

He crows mostly in the morning and right before roosting, plus several times throughout the day.  Really, he's fairly quiet during the day for a rooster, unless he sees a lot of activity, then he is more vocal-- he would make a great watch chicken!

I'd love to trade him for a smaller, older or less testosterone-driven rooster.  If anyone has a place where he can roam more or free-range, that would be ideal.  Or maybe he would be good for someone looking to breed him, since he's got it goin' on boy-howdy.  (His nickname is Mr. V, incidentally, "v" for yep, you guessed it-- Viagra.)

If you're interested, let me know!  We're just north of Carefree Hwy. in Desert Hills.  His dating pics are attached for all the chicks...
