butchering ducks

liz,
there will be a butching class nov 7thand that is when i'm will be having my duck taken care of
if you still have your male we can take care of him too
or if you still would like a male i can give you one of mine and then I'll have the other to butchered...

  Steve made the duck plucker as shown on the instructions. the only thing left to do is get the part/bolt for attaching to the drill.
  
  Personally, I wouldn't do a chicken first, as I don't have chickens and it might
  turn me off to doing ducks. The biggest thing...is it eviserated after plucking or before?
  
  BUT, we are going to the class on Nov. 7.
  Will whoever is doing the training allow us to bring our duck so we can dedress [word?] him there, in case we do something wrong there will be someone with knowledge to help?

thanks for all the help...i am honestly looking for someone to do it for me.....does anyone know what kind of fee is involved?

  That would be great if you take him. I don't think we could eat him, though I have no problem with him being eaten. He attacked me today several times, and I have been getting the chills thinking about the little kids that have visited with him here. I am fine, had long pants on, but my 11 year old daughter would have been hurt. I'm in Tempe, when were you thinking about doing this?

  I have three males right now and none of them are being that mean....
  we just vetted a new teacher for a chicken class and he knows how to butcher the ducks, I am going to be asking him what kind of time he might have. I will let you know asap.
  I would take him now but I have 11 ducks right now....
