    • skinning is ok but if are wanting to roast them skin is soooo much better. this last time we also halved our birds which was great as then we didnt have to eat a whole bird say on a week night.

    • Wow, I've seen homemade pluckers before and they always look like a pain to build and like they take up too much room to store, this one is great. For $6, what an investment. I'm going to build one this summer. Thanks for posting this.
  • I will be looking for this information as well. There is a chicken plucker that can be purchased. I saw it in Backyard poultry. It's a whole process. The cones for the humane killing the scalding then the plucker it's self. It's gonna run around $2k for the whole set up.
