Broody Duck

My duck went broody about a week and a half ago. She's laying on a clutch of about 10 eggs. I thought great because its so hot out it might be easier for the eggs to stay at the right temperature. She's a khaki campbell, a breed not known as a good sitter (though she seems to be doing a fine job). I got to wondering though if maybe it was too hot, as everything I read says to incubate between 99 and 102. Obviously, its hotter than that. She is in the shade. Perhaps I will just have to wait and see. Expected Hatch date: approx. July 22. I will let everyone know if they arrive as we obviously can't keep all of them. Also, as a side note, would it be possible to rename this group Keeping Poultry, for those of us who are keeping more than just chickens (i.e. turkeys, ducks, geese, and guinea fowl). Just a thought.
