About Me:
I consider myself an urban homesteader. I garden and live using permaculture practices. I gave 1700 volunteer hours under AmeriCorps on an inner city demonstration farm practicing permaculture and organic techniques called Beardsley Community Farm. I am currently giving another 1800 volunteer hours at Knoxville Habitat for Humanity teaching gardening and landscape principles to Habitat homeowners. I have been studying and practicing regenerative techniques since 2000ish.

Thanks for visiting our site. Chad and Brad are working on it.
The photos of the cob walls were taken at our first home, but Chad has built a new one in our yard now.
Your garden pics are beautiful. Are you doing water catchment because I can imagine that you need to water a lot in Phoenix being in a desert and all. Your gardens are beautiful and a clever use of space. You are doing exactly what we would like to eventually do at our urban homestead. The biggest challenge is creating `space for our son, dog and cats to play.
till next time,
