  • basically everything in there... my tomatoe plants are taller than me and full of lil ones and my squash is producing beauties. My watermelon just started spreading around and I am waiting for some orbs. I have a couple cantelope bigger than softballs already, bountiful herbs and cucumber vines that are hard to control. Yesterday my beans sprouted pods all over and my green onions are looking healthy.

The Global Institute of Sustainability at ASU is a new groundbreaking college first of its kind, focused on different aspect of susatainability... international development, politics, materials and technlogies, urban dynamics, ecosystems etc. You can get a BA or a BS and then I think there are some grad programs. rather interesting I might add
  • @Windlord.

  • Oh, sorry! Can I get your email address? I will have to get Liz in touch with you to get you on the site and in touch with all the members. I am not sure how to officially invite you to the larkspur site.

Maybe my family and I will make it out to the farm for some peaches, sounds delicious :)
  • I am so glad that you were able to make it out. The link for the Larkspur forum is

  • No problem, We try to meet regularly on Saturdays and are trying to also organize wednesday evenings as another work day in the garden. As the temperatures rise, this schedule may change during the summer. Anne from the SCC garden recognized your name and said that you had been out to have a look at her garden and were very helpful pitching in there. All of the members in our gardening group are new to gardening as so we are learning on the job as we go. We have a large area that we have dug up and planted, which needs to be tended and we are working on bringing in some sort of shade structure for the plants. We would love for you to come out, have a look, and pitch in what you can. We hope that it would be mutually beneficial as I know you are looking to gain experience and see what is out there in the world of community gardening. Our garden is located just north of 64th street and cactus at a local residence. I will get the exact address for you today or tomorrow. Hope you can make it out...
