  • Thanks for your reply. Our website is petroglyphhealing.com were you will find a page on the Olla Project. I am selling them in one of the local stores in Cave Creek which carries about 25 of our other native remedies, healing honeys, and native muds and lotions....etc... but need to start selling them locally. I have not approached anyone....would love to hook up for ideas of places to distribute. I am inumdated with building our healing center, helping other healing apprentices and making our full  line of healing products so I haven't delved into distribution yet. Any interest or directions would always be appreciated. We can link sites if you send me yours. I would recommend people from our site to yours in the contact page for whatever listing you deem apropriate. If you look at our site you can message us as providing native Ollas and remedies if you wish. I only have about a dozen products on the site. I sell and privately make medicine for 4 local doctors and vets on top of the supplement stores that carry some of our stuff. for the mean time I am selling them from the website locally.

  • I own a native healing center in Northern AZ, you can acces a little info on it at petroglyphhealing.com. One of our new products is native american ollas. I commisioned  a 3rd generation cherokee potter to create the original design from his history. We are just strating to make them available to the public. It has taken us over 2 years to facilitate a working product. The type of clay, its thickness, and the exact firing temp are all factors in making a sustainable olla. I have the first 3 sizes in production and I wanted to connect to you guys as you are great proponents of water conservation and organic gardening. If you are intersted I would even send you a couple for you to see and try to help get the word out of what we are doing. Our Center has been producing ancient remedies for a few years now and we are starting our own organic farm using the ollas in a larger configuration....90 to 100 pots in a single organic herb plot. we use over 120 herbs around the world for our remedies and are starting to grow them ourselves to empower our remedies to the fullest. Let me know.

  • Hi my name is Zoe I emailed you like a million years ago and you had gotten back with me about flood irrigation in the garden. Well.... It worked out amazing ! I have a pipe about 5" diameter, and i put a screen and a hay barrel in front of it and so far after about 4 months of doing this i have had no issues with bermuda grass. The hay is amazing for filtering out seeds!

  • Liz I'm thinking about doing the Jujubes in a pot to keep from spreading.  You did that right?  What variety do you have and where did you get it?

  • How you doing on this fine Labor Day weekend?

  • Liz, is this what you were looking for?

  • Morning Liz,

So I still can't get on using my desktop,  but can access using my daughter's netbook.  TThis uses the same IP and the same wireless modem, so that makes it my PC's problem.  Lovely!  Thak you for your help,

    Lis

    Liz,

Did I post the announcement of the American Livestock Breeds
    Conservancy conference program (
    http://albc-usa.org/conference2011/programs.html) in the wrong spot?
I haven't seen it show up.  The topics on the program are fascinating
and seem right in line with permaculture goals.  Not that any of us
will be going, but there were interesting ideas, even in the program,
    to stir creative thought.

    Thank you for your work!

    Lis
