About Me:
I am in the works of creating a community garden out here in Apache Junction to help those who want to have a better choice in fresh food but can't afford it otherwise. My family and I moved down here from Show Low about 9 months ago and love the longer periods of growing!

Hi Jim,
Congratulations on your move to New Mexico! How very exciting. You are more than welcome to be part of the VPA - it's a great resource, especially the virtual community! As for volunteering, I will definitely think on possible opportunities you could assist with from New Mexico. I saw that you were in the works of creating a community garden in Apache Junction. Let us know how that's going. Stacey Lillebo, our outreach coordinator, works directly with community gardens and is attempting to build a database of all possible community gardens to help disseminate information to the public in letting people know where they can go to take part in the local, fresh food movement. I hope all is well. Let us know if we can ever be of assistance.
Best regards,
Kat Farris
