      Hello Jaimie!

Wow!  Sounds like you know a lot about permaculture already and we look forward to hearing from you in the forum!  You'll find a lot of information in the forum about farming and gardening, and we hope you'll share your experience to help others in their permaculture progress.

Thank you for joining the Valley Permaculture Alliance (VPA) forum! VPA is a Phoenix-based non-profit that offers classes, training, activities, tours, events and demonstrations to inspire sustainable urban living in the desert Southwest. Learn more about VPA on the ‘About Us’ page, and explore what this site has to offer. We hope that you will participate fully in the many groups, forums, and other resources on this site. Please take advantage of the wealth of knowledge readily shared by our members! Are you looking for a way to support our local permaculture community? Consider how you can share your surplus:

      -Time by volunteering

      -Knowledge by teaching

-Experience by posting here on the forum

-Funds by making a financial donation

We look forward to getting to know you!

Want another way to connect with VPA? Look for us on Facebook

    About Me:

We're getting ready to purchase land and move our homestead from urban to rural. We raise chickens, Rabbits, turkeys, ducks and are starting on Kune Kune pigs. We plan on adding goats and alpacas. We plan on incorporating farming alongside encouraging a native wild planting to feed ourselves and our livestock. We intend to work with our land to allow for maximum harvest without changing the overall structure.
