Your white iris photos brought back fond memories - this is a variety that my mother used to grow. Some old timers call it "butter and eggs." I have not had any luck finding it commercially and would love to get some rhizomes from you. What kind of seeds are you looking for? I have a good selection of vegetable, flower, and herb seeds - many heirloom. The best way to contact me is to respond to my friend request.
Hi Brian! Yes would still love some Iris'. Sorry things got crazy here. I started my new job on Monday and it has been busy. I am now working on 7th Ave and Camelback. Is it possible to meet up during the week?
Welcome to the VPA. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the VPA. Looks like you've definitely gotten off to a great start in learning from the community! Another program that I would recommend is the University of Arizona Extension Office offers a Master Gardener program that will take you through the gamut of southwest desert planting knowledge. Here's a link, if you'd like to know more: http://ag.arizona.edu/maricopa/garden/html/mgs/mg-broch.htm

Your pics looked like Tempe, Hooray for another front yard garden here! Looks like you are off to a great start. If you like cucs have you tried Armenian Cucumbers? They will fruit all summer and I like the flavor better. I could share some seeds if you are interested.
