Compost Bins

Hi - I just got a compost bin from the City of Mesa and it is bottomless. My 'ground cover' outside my vegetable box is landscaping rocks - should I just sit it on top of those or should I put a plastic sheet down and set it on that??Thanks for any guidance.Carole

    We put four 12" square "pavers" from the Home Depot under ours, and it works very well. Gives it a nice solid base.
