Wanting a tour

Hello, my name is Sarah. My dad is here visiting from Iowa until July 9th, 2011 and he'd like to know if the permaculture guild has someone who can show him their aquaponics set up before he leaves. We are available anytime this week. If one can help us out, please contact me as soon as possible - thank you! 602-206-4727.

  • Hi, Sarah. I'm not sure where you're located, but you're welcome to check out our system. We're in Gilbert (Baseline & Greenfield).  If our location works for you let me know and I'll call you to make arrangements.
    • Hi Sheri! We are open to coming to Gilbert! We went to see Lisette's set up in Tempe today - what a wonderful experience and opportunity. Please do give me a call if you happen to have time for a tour :)

    • Hi, Sara & Lisette! This weekend we'll be putting our floor in the greenhouse, so how about some time next week? I don't have any appointments, so my week is quite flexible. I'd love to hear what your doing, Lisette, and to compare notes.

We have two systems made of the IBC totes. We got the last one from a place in Mesa, on Extension. I'm not sure if that's the place you mentioned in your post. One of our tanks is above ground and in full production while the other is sunk into the ground and will be hooked up to the grow beds this weekend or next.

      I'll email the address.
    • Sarah,

Here are some resources for Dave and another possibility for a tank, easier and might be cheaper in the long run.  Also, if it would be convenient for you and Sheri, could you take me along?  I'd love to see her system.

      Thanks in advance,

      Lisette

330 Gallon Water tanks / tote tanks ONLY 4 left. I just got these in and only have 4 left! FOOD GRADE safe for potable water. I have the best tanks in the valley, I guarantee it. Others sell these used for chemicals, soaps, unknown content, or mutiple use with no record of the previous content. Our tanks are one time use with most manufactured in the past 30 to 90 days. Tanks include 2" standard cam lock ball valves. WE clean each tank with 225 degree water sanitize and ready for use. Call 602-283-3371 for more information.
