Solicitation on the AZ Herb Site

The Arizona Herb Association not endorse products or services sold by members through this web site. While it is permissible to alert fellow members of services/sales you offer, it is up to the discretion of AHAn to delete such posts and ban members whom it determines have used this website solely as a means to sell property and services without authorization.

 

Posting of Photos

AHA website members are encouraged to share photos under our media tab, in forum and blog posts, and on their personal pages. The primary purpose is to share your interest, excitement, and/or achievements in or questions about a topic relevant to the A HAmission, and appropriate and suitable for all audiences. Images must also be in compliance with the following rules:

1. You may not contribute photos that contain expressions of hate, abuse, offensive images or conduct, or any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law or regulations.

2. By uploading a photo, (a) you grant AHA permission to share the image on any other AHA web site (example: Facebook) with attribution given to you; and (b) you agree to indemnify and hold AHA harmless from any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys´ fees, arising from the photo and/or your failure to comply with these rules.

3. You should only post photos that you have taken yourself or that you have rights to transmit and license and which do not violate trademark, copyright, privacy or any other rights of any other person, or that lie within fair use of a photograph. (example: you may post a picture of a squash bug with an attribution to its source in the context of asking: "is this the type of bug you are talking about?"

4. Memes/viral images (of the sort commonly shared on Facebook, tumblr, etc), advertisements or other commercial or promotional/motivational/inspirational images are not suitable for posting in the photo/media category. Within guidelines of #3, this is permissible on your page, in your blog, or, with discretion, in the forums. The photo category should be used for the posting of photo images.
