like to garden, but health is bad now that I'm older and summer heat is prohibitive. I was a member of American Orchid Society for a long time. Even joined Royal Horticultural Society for one year (for snob appeal) I had orchids blooming outside here, but my sister sprayed them for black widow spiders and the whole collection slowly died. Living on a limited income now so can't afford to buy new ones. I pay a landscaping crew 50 dollars a month but they are on autopilot and use weed spray. Worried about bees and butterflies dying. They cut my climbing rose back to a little round clump.
