About Me:
I am 69 years old and have been gardening since I was old enough to walk. I lived on about 2 acres when I was a kid and we raised everything we could in the way of fruits and veggies. After I married we moved to Montana and had about 1/2 acre for 15 years before we moved to into Great falls for greater school opportunities for our children. We raised goats and tried tried to garden in the clay soil without much success. (We had to use a pick ax to get the potatoes out of the ground and we didn't know alot about fixing the soil). After the kids left home we moved to Kuna Idaho and a large suburban lot. We have 200 square feet in raised beds and 6 fruit trees olone with a raspberry bed to die for. (I brought them with me from Montana) I am scared of the depleted look I have seen in Arizona and I want to make my area (wherever that might be) productive and inviting.
