Hello, My worms are doing fine. Not as happy as they normally are in the Fall and Spring but they are surviving. I do have them outdoors still. I leave the lid off slightly as to not trap in the hot air. I also place cardboard egg crates on top with ice if needed. But I have about two feet of moist dirt so the tempature doesn't change as fast. They survive best between 45 and 90 degrees in the soil tempature.
You can get worms still here in valley. Canyon Land seems to be the biggest provider, locally. They are located here in the Valley, they won't ship them right either. But most of the bigger Hydro-ponic stores have worms in stock. You can check them out at Canyonlandworms.com I got mine from Gro-Lot at Metro center. If you have any other questions let me know.

We offer a variety of classes to our members on a donation basis (usually $10 to $25) that goes toward venue hard-costs, also to our experienced and knowledgeable instructors, as well as to support the non-profit in providing quality education for improving our health, our communities and environment. See what classes you may be interested in attending atwww.phoenixpermaculture.org/events - and feel free to contact us with any questions.
